Interesting point Benek Lisefski— I wouldn’t say that overall it is a good thing for the industry, though. I agree that if you’re an experienced designer, doing good work, then you can stand to benefit from this issue (myself included). But, I see the main problem as organisations don’t know what ‘good’ or ‘experienced’ looks like, and are therefore harbouring designers that have the potential to cause serious roadblocks. So, being good is great, but if the people doing the selling, hiring and managing don’t know what is good, then I’d say that’s cause for concern.
